It’s all in the name: a company of people who channel their passion for humanity through film as a medium. It’s the stories we tell that make sense of the world, creating knowledge from failure, strength from suffering, meaning from chaos.

It is this meaning which creates connection: from client to consumer, from subject to audience, from one filmmaker to another. From technical mastery to narrative inspiration, this is our meaning of life.

  • Sam Wong

The guiding hand of FilmCo, the guru, the glue. Technical, cinematic, narrative, practical, experimental: the hand of Sam is seen in each of these aspects of FilmCo’s work. Deep down, Sam wants to make the world a better place as he builds a better film business. Trained as a Doctor, he switched scalpel and prescription pad for life through the lens, turning his passion for film and people into a mission of inspiration, creation and storytelling.

  • Dennis Lam

He has one single, simple goal: to be the best cinematographer he possibly can. With laser focus and the discipline to avoid all idle chatter and distractions, when Dennis is forced to talk, you know that it matters. Instead, he communicates in frames and cuts and microsecond edits. If you want to know Dennis, just watch and learn.

  • Lee Kit Sze

Kit Sze is a fast talker, the words coming out as quickly as the ideas pop into her head. A FilmCo veteran, she came in as an intern and carved out her place in the company as Producer by attacking each project with the inexhaustible enthusiasm she first came in with. Try to keep up!

  • Liew Kar Seng

Kar Seng is a people person. Amiable, organised and always ready to smile, he can soothe the most savage client and still keep the team on track. His journalism training has given him a nose for the stories that matter most and, at FilmCo, he is making sure they get told.

  • Koek Haw

Koek Haw combines a technical touch with curiosity for people and projects. Watching, learning, creating, making; he is always willing to have a go and see where it takes him. Whether making up new words or testing new techniques, work or play, they are both the same to him!
